Title: Technical Support Specialist (DE)
This is 100% remote, employed via an Employer of Record. Must be located within Germany.
Overview:
Microshift is growing its European footprint, starting with a dedicated Technical Support Specialist for the DACH market. In this role, you will be the face of Microshift for our customers —riders, dealers, and distributors will turn to you for technical supports. This means you will help our customers with issues such as: finding the right compatible component, troubleshooting a shifting issue, or processing a warranty to get someone back on their bike.
This is a hands-on, autonomous role for someone who takes ownership, solves problems independently, and thrives without a large support structure behind them. You will have the unique opportunity to help shape how Microshift grows in the European market.
Who you’ll work with:
Microshift is headquartered in Taiwan, with team members spread across the globe. In this role, you’ll report directly to our Operations Manager based in the US. While you’ll primarily work independently, you’ll collaborate with our marketing and service team members in the US and France. And you will have access to our engineering team in Taiwan for technical questions when you need them.

- Answer customer inquiries such as compatibility or installation [15%]
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and provide clear solutions [15%]
- Process and manage warranty requests [15%]
- Translate and localize tech and marketing content from English into German [20%]
- Contribute market insights to product development and planning [10%]
- Reporting on key product issues and trends to engineering and manufacturing teams. [15%]
- Support additional projects as the brand presence grows [10%]

- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a mechanic in a bike shop.

- Willing to travel to the US in the initial training period for up to 90 days.
- Willing to travel within Europe or internationally at least once a year.
